What is Chroma Strike?

A neon knife-throwing arcade game with one rule: match your color. A ring of colored arcs spins in front of you; your knife is one color; land it in the matching arc. Every knife you land stays in the ring and turns with it — so every hit makes the next throw harder. Tap to throw. That is the whole control scheme.

Which devices does it run on? Do I need internet?

Chroma Strike is an Android game and needs Android 8.0 (Oreo) or newer. The download is about 120 MB. It is a portrait, one-thumb game with no accounts. There is no iPhone version yet.

No internet needed: the game is fully playable offline. A connection is used for the things that need one — showing ads, and making or restoring purchases.

Where is my progress stored? Is there cloud save?

Your progress — levels, stars, coins, unlocked items — is stored on your device. There is no account system and no cloud save of ours, so we cannot see, transfer, or restore your progress.

If backup is switched on for your Google account, Android may bring your save back when you reinstall the game or set up a new phone. That is your phone's own backup; it is not something we control or can promise. Purchases are separate: non-consumables like Remove Ads live with your store account and can always be restored (see below).

Does "Remove Ads" remove all ads?

It removes every forced ad: interstitials are gone for good. Rewarded ads stay available — deliberately. A rewarded ad is something you choose to watch in exchange for a revive or a bonus; it is a way to earn, not an ad you are made to sit through, so removing it would only take an option away from you. The Eclipse trail comes with the purchase as a thank-you.

How do I restore my purchases?

Open Settings → Restore purchases while signed in to the same Google account you bought with. This re-applies non-consumable purchases: Remove Ads and the trail that comes with it.

Coin packs are consumable — the coins are added the moment you buy and are then part of your saved progress, so they cannot be restored separately. If the store shows a payment as pending, the purchase arrives when the store confirms it. For a purchase that was charged but never arrived, tell us so we can fix the cause; refunds themselves go through Google Play.

How do stars work?

Up to three per level:

StarsEarned by
★Clear the level
★★Clear it with at least 50% of hits PERFECT
★★★Clear it with at least 85% of hits PERFECT

Stars are never spent or consumed — they are thresholds. Reaching a star total unlocks worlds and arcade games, and you keep every star you have earned afterwards.

What is a PERFECT hit? What is a combo?

A landing is PERFECT when the knife embeds in the central 40% of its arc — comfortably clear of both edges. Consecutive PERFECT hits build a combo, and the sound climbs with it. A normal (non-PERFECT) hit resets the combo to zero. PERFECT rates are what earn the second and third star on every level.

What are the worlds?

Every ten levels is a world, and each world's last level is a boss. The world decides the shape you throw at, which changes where the knife lands and when:

WorldShapeLevels
PRISMCircle1–10
LATTICEPentagon11–20
APEXSquare21–30

LATTICE opens at 7 stars and APEX at 20. After APEX the DEEP worlds continue past level 30, cycling through the three shapes.

What are coins for, and how do I earn them?

Coins are the spendable currency. You earn them from hits, level clears, PERFECT bonuses, achievements, daily challenges, and the arcade mini-games. You spend them on knives, trails and hit effects in the COLLECTION, on unlocking arcade games, and on revives. Coin packs are sold in the store as optional purchases. Nothing you need in order to finish a level is ever behind money.

How do revives work?

When a run ends you can carry on from where you fell. In one run you can revive up to twice by watching an ad and up to three times with coins. A coin revive costs 40 coins plus 8 per level, and never more than 220.

How do I unlock the NEON ARCADE and its games?

Clear level 3 and the arcade opens, with the first game free. The rest unlock with stars and coins:

GameUnlock
COLOR FLAPFree when the arcade opens
COLOR DROP8 stars + 350 coins, or beat the level 10 boss
COLOR BOUNCE60 stars + 1,200 coins
COLOR GATES100 stars + 2,500 coins

All four obey the same rule as the main game — match your color — and they pay their coins and achievements into the same economy.

Is there an energy system, timers, or a battle pass?

No, no, and no. You can play as much as you want, whenever you want. The whole economy is stars, coins, and achievements — nothing else.

What are the reminders, and how do I turn them off?

If you say yes when the game asks, it schedules a few notifications on your phone — about the daily challenge, or that your level is waiting. They are created on your device; nothing is sent to us, and none arrive at night.

Turn them off in Settings → Reminders inside the game, or in Android's notification settings for Chroma Strike. The game never asks for the permission at launch, and it asks only once.

What data does the game collect? How do I delete it?

The game has no accounts and we run no servers for it. The advertising, analytics and crash-reporting software inside the app does send data to Google; the privacy policy lists all of it. If you are in Europe you choose what is allowed in the consent form, and you can change your answer in Settings → Privacy options.

To erase your data, clear the game's storage in Android's settings or uninstall the game. The Delete your data page has every step, including how to ask us.

I'm colorblind — can I play a game about matching colors?

Honestly: it depends on which colors you can tell apart. The four arc colors are magenta, cyan, violet and amber, and this version has no colorblind mode — no marks or patterns on the arcs and knives. If the colors are hard for you to separate, tell us; it helps us decide what to build next.
